TVET UK attend the agent fair "Working for the Asia Pacifc"

TVET UK partnered with English UK for the agent fair “Working for the Asia Pacific”

The objective was to meet 30 British Council trained agents from the Asia Pacific and raise awareness and understanding of the TVET UK operation.

Additionally TVET UK visited two Chinese colleges Shenzhen Polytechnic and Shenzhen Institute of Information technology  - on a developmental fact finding mission to test the appetitie for working with UK colleges via the TVET UK model. The visit also provided a chance to meet with China Britian Business Council in Shenzhen and explain the role of TVET UK and raise awareness within that organisation.

Discussions were also held with the British Council in Hong Kong about a joint event around the introduction of 14-19 curriculum reform which is expected to happen in February 2009.

Following this visit there is ongoing communication between TVET UK and UKTI/British Embassy for support and collaboartion in a number of sectors in Hong kong and Macau.
